It was a dark and stormy night. Sarah was driving home from a late-night shift at the hospital. As she turned onto a deserted street, she noticed a car following her. She tried to shake it off, but the car stayed on her tail, following her every turn.
Panic began to set in as she realized she was being followed by someone who meant her harm. She tried to call the police, but her phone was dead. She didn't know what to do, so she drove faster, hoping to lose her pursuer.
As she reached the edge of town, she saw a lone gas station and pulled in, hoping to find help. As she parked, the car that had been following her pulled up beside her.
Trembling with fear, Sarah got out of her car and approached the other driver, who rolled down his window. "I've been following you," he said, "but only to warn you. Your car has a flat tire, and I wanted to make sure you were safe."
Sarah was relieved and embarrassed by her overactive imagination. She thanked the stranger for his concern and watched as he drove away into the night. But as she turned to head into the gas station, she couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. She turned to look back at the road and saw the car that had been following her, parked just a few feet away.
It was then that she realized the man who had stopped her wasn't trying to help her at all. He had lured her to a deserted gas station, and now she was trapped. She tried to run, but it was too late. The man had already caught her.
Sarah never made it home that night. Her family and friends searched for her, but she was never found. Her disappearance remains a mystery to this day.
